2025 KWLA Student Expo

Each participating teacher must be a KWLA member to send students.

Each teacher can choose one in-person venue to bring students. All students may participate virtually as well. Maximum 20 students per teacher.

Costs

• Base Cost: $5 per student. Covers certificates, goodies, and materials for the cultural learning events.
• AAPPL: $20. If a student would like to take the AAPPL assessment (which may be used to receive the school/district's Seal of Biliteracy), they can do so in lieu of participation in competition or cultural events.
• Language & Culture Competitions: $5/event. Students may participate in a maximum of 3 competitions, combination of in-person and virtual. Group entries will only be charged once per entry, BUT each student in the group will still need to pay the base cost.
